Garden on the Wall, LLC (GOTW) delivers maintenance-free and aesthetically striking garden installations that utilize naturally preserved plants to create lush, biophilic wall designs. In June 2023, the company exhibited in Chicago at the three-day commercial interior design event NeoCon 2023 at The Mart.

Highlighting biodiversity, the GOTW display incorporated leading-edge fabrication and installation methods, showcasing a woven fabric of forest, ferns, and moss. An ascending pathway of flowers through the heart of the design represented the company’s mission of reaching new heights with every project undertaken.

The GOTW presence in Chicago was successful in many ways, as architects, contractors, and interior designers viewed the company’s transformative visual design ethos and learned about its proven safety and sustainability credentials.

As GOTW managing partner Mine Hisim described, NeoCon is essential for forging ties within the design community and providing a venue for Interior Design Magazine’s HiP Awards. The annual awards recognize industry innovators. For the 10th annual running of HiP, GOTW earned a nomination in the Environmental Impact category for “Taking Flight.” The impressive 105-foot garden installation presides over the Nashville International Airport’s recently completed check-in lobby and departures hall. With gardens facing opposite on either side of the security screening lanes, they combine to form one of the world’s largest preserved garden installations.
